Yes! We have two soap lines: our natural line + our fragrance line. 

Our natural line is 100% natural with natural colourants + scented with essential oils - if they are scented at all.  

Our fragrance line is 98% natural.

The remaining 2% is our paraben free, phthalate free fragrance oils that we get from reputable manufacturers in North America. These companies adhere to the same strict standards & regulations that we do. The power of fragrance to enhance moods & ones mental health is huge & not all scents can be replicated through essential oils.

Lye, or sodium hydroxide, is a basic  ingredient of natural & artisan soap.   It can be  dangerous on its own but, you need it to react with the various skin loving oils & butters to create soap. Once lye chemically combines with these fats, it becomes glycerin.   Glycerin can draw moisture from the air around us and help keep that moisture in skin.  In a finished bar of soap, the lye is completely gone.

As quoted by the CDC:  "CDC recommends washing hands with soap and water whenever possible  because handwashing reduces the amounts of all types of germs and  chemicals on hands. But if soap and water are not available, using a  hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol can help you avoid getting sick  and spreading germs to others. Your handcrafted  soap will last much longer if it is allowed to dry between uses.  The soap dishes that we carry are great options - check them out in our soap dish section.   If you are not using your soap(s) for extended periods of time, it is best to store them in a cool, dry place away - from  direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. 

We recommend you use our products within 12 months for the best results, as the colour and fragrances may begin to fade after that amount of time.  However, our soaps will still get you clean after the fragrance and colours are long gone
